Can I zip the downloaded images?

Yes, the “Zip It” button allows you to download images directly into a zip file, which can include a folder if specified.

Does the extension collect any personal data?

No, the extension does not collect or store any personal data. All data is processed locally on your device.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Will there be updates to the extension?

Yes, we continually work on improving the extension and adding new features. Updates will be automatically applied through the Chrome Web Store.

How do I update the extension to the latest version?

The extension updates automatically through the Chrome Web Store. You can manually check for updates by going to chrome://extensions/, enabling Developer mode, and clicking “Update.”

Can I download images from password-protected sites?

The extension does not support downloading images from password-protected sites directly. You will need to have access to the URLs of the images.

What if an image URL is broken or invalid?

The extension will skip broken or invalid URLs during the download process. A report of failed downloads can be provided for review.

Can I pause and resume downloads?

Currently, the extension does not support pausing and resuming downloads. All downloads must be completed in one session. Maybe that could be added in the future.

Is there a limit to the number of images I can download at once?

There is no hard limit set by the extension, but performance may vary depending on your system’s capabilities and network speed.

Can I download images in different resolutions?

The extension downloads images in the resolution specified by the URL. It does not support changing the resolution of images during the download process.

 

How do I uninstall the extension?

You can uninstall the extension by right-clicking the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar and selecting “Remove from Chrome,” or by going to chrome://extensions/ and clicking the trash icon next to the extension.

Will the extension work in other browsers?

The extension is specifically designed for Google Chrome. Compatibility with other browsers is not guaranteed but there is a high chance it will work fine!

What permissions does the extension require?

The current version of the extension doesn’t need any special permissions to work. In the future, even as we continue to add more features, we may need additional permissions. Whatever permission will be needed, we will indicate what it is, why it is needed and how it helps the extension perform its tasks!
