Know what kind of URLs you have

Before importing, check whether your list contains direct image URLs or page URLs. Direct image URLs can usually be used as download targets. Page URLs need to be scanned first so the extension can find the image URLs inside each page.

Mixing both types without checking can make a task confusing. If the list is large, test a small sample first.

Load URL lists faster

For short lists, pasting URLs line by line is fine. For longer lists, file-based import or drag-and-drop style loading can save time and reduce copy-paste mistakes. Keep one URL per line where possible, and remove obvious blanks or broken entries before importing.

If you are using CSV-based task import, follow the provided template or exported header so the extension can read the fields correctly.

Set caps and delays before scanning

Large page URL lists should be handled carefully. A maximum URL cap prevents accidental runaway jobs. A request delay spaces out work so the extension is not hammering the source site. These settings are especially important when you are scanning many pages rather than downloading direct image links.

Responsible pacing helps reduce failures and keeps the workflow easier to monitor.

Scan, filter, and clean the imported list

After page URLs are scanned, review the image results. Use filters for dimensions, file type, aspect ratio, domain, and URL text. Remove duplicate URLs before creating a download task. If an imported list is old, use the 404 checker or redirect checker to catch dead or changed links before running the full batch.

Turn the list into an organized task
