Download Images Behind Pagination — Bulk Image Downloader Pro

A gallery shows twenty thumbnails and page numbers at the bottom. A page-level grabber saves those twenty and stops—the other images behind pagination never reach your folder until you notice the count is wrong. Step 1: know why page-one scans fall short

Simple downloaders read whatever is in the current DOM and quit. Images on pages two, three, and beyond are not loaded until something navigates there. Pagination can be numbered links, “next” buttons, or infinite scroll that loads more rows as you move down the page—each needs a different capture strategy.

Step 2: enable pagination scan and Stack Mode

In the side-panel scraper, turn on pagination scanning so the tool steps through index pages instead of stopping at the first. Enable Stack Mode to merge images from every visited page into one combined grid (up to 100 pages per pagination run).

For galleries that paginate by scrolling rather than numbered links, use Deep Scan to auto-scroll and wait for lazy-loaded rows. When a page keeps adding images over time, Continuous Scanning watches for late arrivals.

Step 3: clean the merged list

Multi-page merges often introduce repeats—the same thumbnail on adjacent index pages, or a hero image listed in multiple categories. Run URL deduplication, then the perceptual duplicate finder for visual twins. Paste the combined URL list into the 404 checker and copy reachable URLs into your download task.

Step 4: hand off to a download task

Send the stacked scrape results to the options page: create a new task, append to an existing list, or replace URLs for review. Apply a minimum width filter to skip index thumbnails, use the Filename Constructor for ordered names, and enable per-task ZIP for large galleries.

Limits to expect

  • pagination cannot follow every site pattern—some galleries use heavy JavaScript navigation the scraper cannot automate
  • login-gated archives require an authenticated browser session during the scan
  • respect site terms and add scrape delays on large crawls so you do not hammer the host
