The extension has many controls, but the workflow is easier to understand if you split it into two parts: the side panel finds images, and the options page downloads and processes them.

Start with the source: page, gallery, or URL list

If the images are already direct links, go straight to the options page and paste them into a task. If the images are buried inside web pages, use the side panel first. Scan Current Page collects images from the active tab, Deep Scan helps with lazy-loaded or AJAX content, Area Scan targets one region of a page, and Bulk URL Scraping can work through a list of page URLs.

The side panel also gives you filters for dimensions, file type, aspect ratio, text, and domain. That means you can remove many logos, icons, thumbnails, and off-topic images before they become download tasks.

Review the results before downloading

After a scan, look at the results in grid or table view. Sort by size when you need full-resolution images. Use the current-domain option when the page pulls in assets from unrelated hosts. Use deduplication when the same image appears more than once in the scrape.

When the list looks right, copy the URLs, export them to CSV, download selected images, or send the selected set to the options page. The important point is not to download blindly. A few minutes of review usually prevents a messy folder later.

Create a task on the options page

The options page is where image lists become saved files. A task can hold pasted URLs or files uploaded from your computer for local batch processing. From the task controls, choose file types, folder names, ZIP output, queue or schedule behavior, and parallel download settings.

For very large batches, ZIP output is often easier to manage. For repeated jobs, task export helps back up the setup. CSV import is a Licensed PRO feature, while CSV export is available more broadly.

Use names and folders that match the job

Bulk downloads are only useful if the files can be found later. The Filename Constructor can build names using the original filename, sequence numbers, timestamps, URL fragments, website names, random strings, and custom text. If you already have product SKUs or planned filenames, upload a custom filename list and match names to URLs.

Folder options can keep sources separate by task folder, domain, or URL fragments. This is useful for product catalogs, research folders, client mood boards, and migration work where one flat folder would become confusing.

Clean bad links and duplicates

There are two kinds of duplicates. Strip Duplicates removes repeated URLs from a task. The Perceptual Duplicate Finder looks for visually similar images, which is useful when the same photo appears under different CDN URLs, sizes, or filenames.

For old or scraped lists, the 404 checker helps find broken image links, and the redirect checker traces where a URL finally goes. These tools do not fix every website restriction, but they help you avoid running a batch full of dead or misleading links.

Resize, convert, watermark, or strip metadata when needed

Processing happens on the options page. Resize and convert are separate modes: choose resize when dimensions matter, and choose convert when the output format matters. Supported processing output is JPEG, WebP, or PNG. Canvas re-encoding also means metadata may be removed, and the Strip EXIF option is available when privacy or file cleanup matters.

Watermarking uses a configured PNG watermark with position, opacity, margin, and size settings. It is useful for preparing image sets consistently, but it does not replace copyright checks or permission from the original image source.

Understand the free and paid modes

Basic Free is for simple direct downloading with unlimited URL count and restricted advanced controls. Try PRO exposes the fuller workflow but downloads 1 URL or file per task run. Licensed PRO is for unrestricted normal use: unlimited tasks, CSV task import, advanced tools, and higher parallel download controls. Signing in alone is not the same as having an active license.

A sensible first workflow

For a first serious run, keep it simple. Scan or paste the URLs, remove duplicates, filter out tiny images, save the task as a ZIP, use predictable filenames, and run with a moderate parallel setting. Once that works, add scheduling, custom filename files, watermarking, or visual duplicate detection only when the job actually needs them.
