Lazy Loaded Images Not Downloading — Bulk Image Downloader Pro

You expected forty photos. The scan found nine. On most modern sites that gap means the pictures were never requested yet—they load only when you scroll, open a tab, or trigger JavaScript. When lazy loaded images are not downloading, the problem is usually timing, not a broken downloader.

Step 1: confirm lazy loading is the cause

Signs the page is holding images back:

  • more pictures appear as you scroll manually
  • thumbnails use tiny placeholders or blurred previews first
  • image tags carry data-src, data-lazy, or similar attributes before the real URL loads
  • infinite-scroll feeds keep adding cards without a full page reload

If the count never grows no matter how long you wait, the blocker may be login, paywall, or blocked media—not lazy loading alone.

Step 2: run Deep Scan and let it finish

Deep Scan auto-scrolls the page, rescans about every five seconds, and collects URLs as they enter the DOM. It is built for lazy-loaded, AJAX, and infinite-scroll galleries.

  1. open the gallery and complete any required sign-in
  2. run Scan Current Page as a quick baseline

Step 4: validate before the bulk download

Paste the URL list into the 404 checker (HEAD with GET fallback) to drop dead links. Run the redirect checker on wrapper URLs (up to 20 hops, HEAD with GET fallback). Copy cleaned URLs into your task manually—checkers do not auto re-import.

Step 5: what the extension cannot fix

  • images behind logins you have not completed
  • paywalled, DRM-protected, or hotlink-blocked media the browser never receives
  • content that requires CAPTCHA or anti-bot steps
  • files that exist only on the server and never appear in page markup
